Channel Partnership Sr Manager/AVP

The Channel Manager identifies, wins, maintains, and expands relationships with channel partners.

The Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.

Outcome and Responsibilities:​​

  • Establishes and manages productive, professional working relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.

  • Coordinates the involvement of necessary company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.

  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process with partner accounts that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.

  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.

  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.

  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.

  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.

  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.

  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.

  • Proactively recruits new qualifying partners.

How do you know if you are a good fit:​​

  • Proven track record of growing channel partnerships with meaningful new partners and/or revenue impact.

  • Proven history of exceeding channels sales goals by creating and utilizing effective channel sales strategies.

  • Proven history of building and driving pipeline within channel partners by evangelizing and collaborating with partner sales organizations.

  • 5+ year Channel Sales experience and/or Sales/Partner Enablement experience in technology companies, preferably with a successful track record of managing people and/or project teams.

  • Strong interest in the technology industry, in particular in personal data protection and digital identity.

  • Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners with different working cultures.

  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.

  • Strong ability to adapt, can handle ambiguities within a startup environment.

  • Excellent communicator and can work well with cross-functional teams.

  • Have a growth mindset – willing to try something new and different to get things done.

  • Demonstrate the ability to follow through on tasks, a self-starter who thrives on autonomy when working towards a goal.
